Qm4Drupal is a quality management system based on the Drupal content management framework. The system was deployed at Research Institute for Operations Management based on a concept developed by Ingenieurbüro Richard Schieferdecker.
The emphasis for this project lay in the implementation of a quality management system for a company with a high fluctuation of employees. This required a system that was intuitively usable. Key features are
- Various methods of information retrieval: alphabetical index, task-based, full text search, related by topic.
- Documentation of the PDCA cycle.
- Workflow for publishing and iteratively enhancing process descriptions.
- Revisioning System.
- Content types for process descriptions, further applicable documents and document templates.
